In this information seminar, come walk through the pages of the Lone Star history and learn about the lives of women and girls in an 1830's Tonkawa Indian camp, on an 1860's German Immigrant Farm, and 1870's Texian Farm and an 1880's Cotton Planter's farm. See early-day costumes and get a take-home history booklet. Great for mothers and daughters.

BSKX 4062 Sufism

This course explores Sufism by going through mystical interpretations of both the Qur'an and sayings of the Prophet. It will cover the development of Islamic spiritual thought and practices in history. The course will remain anchored by focusing on important personalities in the mystical tradition of Islam through their literature and poetry.
