Microsoft.NET Framework
The Microsoft MCTS: .NET Framework 3.5, ASP.NET Applications credential is the premier certification for professionals who implement and administer .NET applications. Our program provides hands-on training using Microsoft Official Curriculum.
At Austin Community College, you can take these classes individually, or sign up for the MCTS Series. Prerequisite: Previous programming experience .
INEW 1000 Developing Microsoft ASP.NET Web Application

This course will teach Microsoft C# programmers and beginning Web developers the fundamentals of Web application site implementation by using Microsoft ASP.NET and Microsoft C#. This course focuses on using the Microsoft Visual Studio .NET environment and the Microsoft .NET platform to create an ASP.NET Web application that delivers dynamic content to a Web site. MOC 2310. Prerequisites: The ability to create HTML or DHTML and programming experience using C#.

INEW 1073 Advanced Microsoft.NET

This course provides students with the enabling knowledge and skills required to create Microsoft .NET Applications with Visual Studio 2005. Students learn how to develop secured .NET applications. This course helps students to prepare for Exam 70-536, which is a core requirement for the MCTS certification. MOC 2957.
Prerequisites: NEW 1072 or equivalent.

This two-day instructor-led course provides students with the knowledge and skills to create a fully functional Web application by using ASP.NET 3.5.
This course helps students to prepare for Exam 70-562 TS: Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5, ASP.NET Application Development, which is a core requirement for the MCTS certification. MOC 6463.
Prerequisites: INEW 1073 or equivalent.
