A course which provides instruction and business applications for designing, updating, and managing a database using Microsoft Access. Instruction on creating reports and forms and integrating applications is also included. This course covers the required skill sets on the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) specialist level exam. POFT 1031 Business Machine Applications: Data Entry (48.0 hours/$200.00)
Skill development in the operation of machines used in a business environment. Emphasis on the development of skills in using electronic calculators and other office machines such as fax, telephone equipment, and reprographics. This is a flex-entry course, with no structured lectures/demonstrations, and no required attendance other than for orientation and taking computer and written exams. All students must attend a REQUIRED orientation.
