The Video Games industry is a fast growing, multi-billion dollar industry. Austin is one of the leaders in the country. Video games require unique design, programming, art and production skills. A studio course focused on advanced 3-D modeling and rendering techniques using industry standard software: spline modeling, patch modeling, and other organic modeling techniques; learn advanced use of camera settings, lighting, and surfacing to create detailed environments; cover advanced topics such as particle and volumetric effects, and setting up a model with weight maps, hierarchies, bones, and constraints.
