HITT 7000 Administrative Medical Specialist with Medical Billing and Coding

The medical industry is experiencing a tremendous demand for individuals with knowledge of medical office operations, which includes billing and coding, processing insurance forms, and using medical software. This program provides training on medical billing software as well as preparation for the Certified Coding Associate (CCA) national certification exam. The target audience for the Administrative Medical Specialist with Medical Billing and Coding program are individuals interested in learning job skills for medical office opportunities, changing jobs to become medical office assistants, or changing jobs to become medical coders. HITT 7010 Advanced Hospital Coding and CCS Prep

This is a 2-part course that prepares students to take the American Health Information Management Association's official certification examination to become a Certified Coding Specialist. This course covers both ICD-9 and CPT-4 procedures. Students have the opportunity to interact with fellow students from all over the country. HITT 7050 Advanced Coding For the Physician's Office

Details and tips are provided to ensure that the most in-depth knowledge is acquired. This leads to increased accuracy in code selections and a smoother billing process, with quicker and better reimbursement. As a current coder seeking more in-depth knowledge, you should already have a set of coding books. They are not included. You are expected to have a current year CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-9-CM coding books. Course culminates in preparation for the Certified Procedural Coder examination.
