BSKX 5068 Advanced College Readiness Online Course (0.0 hours/$20.00)
A+dvancer (or Advancer) College Readiness Online Courseware is a web-based prescriptive refresher course available to incoming students who wish to develop their skills in Arithmetic or Elementary Algebra to improve their placement score when taking ACC assessment tests. When preparing for a placement test, many students study and review material they already know. One of the advantages of A+dvancer is that the program begins with an assessment and then creates an individualized plan to target the exact material students need to know or review.Once a student is registered for a subject, Arithmetic or Elementary Algebra, he/she will take an A+dvancer diagnostic test. The results of the test identify the student's specific areas of weakness. The courseware is then individually tailored to provide lessons for the student in his/her identified areas of weakness. Once the student completes a lesson, he/she must pass a practice test and then a mastery test (80%) before moving on to the next lesson in the sequence. Please contact the Learning Lab Manager at your campus for additional information.
