The Astronomy courses have new numbers. PHYS 1311 is now ASTR 1303, PHYS 1312 is now ASTR 1304 and PHYS 1411 is now ASTR 1403. The prerequisites for all physics courses are mandatory and will be verified by instructors. Students without the prerequisites are subject to withdrawal.

Prerequisites: 1) Grade of "C" or better in MATH 2413 (Calculus I), 2) credit or concurrent enrollment in MATH 2414 (Calculus II), and 3) one year of high school physics, a grade of "C" or better in PHYS 1653, or a grade of "C" or better in both PHYS 1401 and 1402.
