Development of ancient, medieval, and early modern civilizations to 1660.
HIST 2312 Western Civilization II
Development of modern western civilization from 1660 to present.
HIST 2328 Mexican-American History II
A continuation of HIST 2327, emphasizing the modern contributions and leaders of the Mexican-American culture in America. Counts toward U.S. History requirement or as an elective.
HIST 2341 Studies in United States History
A treatment of selected topics in the history of the United States. May be repeated when topics vary.
American Indians - A survey of the society and culture of American Indians and how it changed through time.
Civil War - A survey of the political, military, constitutional, economic, and social events in the American Civil War.
Cold War - A history of conflict between the United States and Soviet Union after 1945.
Depression Era U.S. - A survey of the political, economic, social, and cultural events of the Twenties and Thirties in the United States.
Latinos in the United States - A comprehensive survey of the different Latino experiences in the history of the United States.
Military History of the United States - A survey of American military policy and development from the 17th century to the present.
The Sixties - A survey of the political, economic, social, and diplomatic events of the 1960's.
Women in The United States - A comprehensive survey of events and issues in United States history, focusing on the specific contributions of women and the relationship between race, class, and gender.
World War II - A survey of the political, military, and social history of the United States in World War II.
