ALL COURSES REQUIRE DEPARTMENTAL APPROVAL PRIOR TO REGISTRATION. Certain vaccinations and a criminal background check through ACC’s vendor are required for admission to the program. Prospective EMT students must attend an online Information Session in order to gain access to the application for that program. Prospective Intermediate through Paramedic students must also complete an online Information Session in order to apply for entry into the program. Application deadline for the for the Summer 2010 seating of the Intermediate course is March 1, 2010, or until all seats are taken for the summer semester.

EMSP 2260 Clinical-Emergency Medical EMT Paramedic-Paramedic Clinical III
To be eligible for registration students must complete the following: (1) pass a competency test based on the ATCEMS Clinical Operating Guidelines, the exam will be available March 24- 31, 2010 (2) Present an AHA Healthcare Provider CPR card, (3) proof of current EMS certification and (4) verification of Tb status (PPD). Items 2 though 4 must be valid through the end of the clinical semester in order for a student to register. Verification of eligibility is through the Clinical Coordinator. Additionally, all students registered in EMSP 2260 must attend MANDATORY clinical orientation and skills verification sessions on June 4 and 11, 2010.
