HUMA 1301 Introduction to Humanities I Humanities 1301: Introduction to Humanities I and Humanities 1302: Introduction to Humanities II differ only with respect to the time period covered (Prehistory through the Renaissance and the Renaissance to present, respectively). Neither course is a prerequisite for the other and they can be take in any order.

A study of representative samples of literature, art, and music of various periods and cultures from prehistory through the Renaissance. The study of the interrelationships of the arts and their philosophies emphasizes an understanding of human nature and the values of human life.
