An advanced class covering further design and production skills using Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat. CS4 version of the software is required. Advanced production techniques including: trapping, correct color definition, color separations, paper, printing techniques, duotones, working with printers, budgeting and bidding.

GRPH 1459 Vector Graphics for Productions
Introduction to the tools and transformation options of Adobe Illustrator to create complex vector illustrations for print and web-based media. Mastery in manipulation of both text and graphics with emphasis on the use of the pen tool.
08000 -This section of Vector Graphics is a classroom hybrid course using both traditional and online learning. It will meet once a week on Tuesday for lecture with the instructor and outside class work will be completed online. Adobe Illustrator CS3 or above software recommended. An advanced course requiring a minimum of 30 credit hours completed in the ACC Visual Communication program. Students gain real work experience in the graphic or interactive design industry by working in a business or studio at an off campus location.
