18115 - This is a HYBRID section in which 50% of the course instruction is classroom-based
and 50% is on-line through Blackboard. The online component requires regular access
to a computer with internet, email, word processing, and audio-visual playback capability.
All assignments will be submitted online through Blackboard. Students need to be
self-motivated to succeed in this course. Students who miss the first class session
(orientation for the course) will be dropped from the course.

A study of representative samples of literature, art, and music of various periods and cultures from prehistory through the Renaissance. The study of the interrelationships of the arts and their philosophies emphasizes an understanding of human nature and the values of human life.
