CHIN 1511 Chinese I
Study of fundamentals of Mandarin Chinese: conversation, basic writing, listening and reading comprehension, vocabulary building, grammar, and culture.

CHIN 2311 Chinese III
Advanced Chinese grammar, directed composition, conversation and discussion of culture based on readings. Prerequisite: Students must have completed a second semester college Chinese course of at least four semester hours with a grade of C or better, or have equivalent credit by examination to enroll in CHIN 2311.
