Emergency Medical Services Professions

ALL COURSES REQUIRE DEPARTMENTAL APPROVAL FOR REGISTRATION. Certain vaccinations and a criminal background check through ACC's vendor are required for admission to the program. Prospective EMT Basic students must attend an online Information Session in order to gain access to the application for that program. Prospective Intermediate - Paramedic students must attend an in-person Information Session in order to apply for entry into the program. For further information visit the department website at www.austincc.edu/health/emsp Application deadline for the EMT Basic course is August 4, 2008; application deadline for the fall seating of the Intermediate course is June 16, 2008.
