English as a Second Language - Academic

Academic ESL offers English classes in three skill areas: writing and grammar, reading and vocabulary, oral communication. Within each area, we offer classes at four levels: high beginning, low intermediate, high intermediate and advanced. Students wanting to enroll in ESL classes must take the ESL assessment test. For information about the assessment test, call 223-3139 (RGC) or 223-4807 (NRG). For information about the Academic ESL program, call 223-3354 or 223-3349 (RGC), 223-6290 (RVS), 223-4014 or 223-4874 (NRG). We now offer classes at the Cypress Creek and Pinnacle campuses. Call 223-3354 for information. For information regarding ESL classes for students who are deaf or hard of hearing please call 223-6262 or 223-6151.
