All courses except EMSP 1501 and EMSP 1160 require department approval for registration. All students MUST be AT LEAST 18 years of age to attend any EMSP course. Students must present proof of immunization for the following on the first day of class: 1 MMR, a second measles vaccination (may be part of a second MMR), current Tetanus (within 10 years), PPD skin test (tuberculosis) no more than 6 months old, and complete varicella (chicken pox) vaccination or proof of varicella immunity. In addition, all students must present a current (no more than 6 months old) CPR for Healthcare providers card from AHA or Advanced Rescuer CPR from Red Cross on the first day of class.
