Tips for a quality application:
Complete the entire application. A complete and accurate application improves your chances of getting a scholarship. If you are a dependent, you will need to include your parent's income information.
Submit a strong essay. Your application will not be considered without an essay. Be sure to address the specific questions. The essay assignment is to write a brief essay explaining your educational and career goals and how ACC will help you achieve them. If you have any unusual circumstances that you would like the scholarship committee to consider, please include this in your essay. It is a good idea to write your essay using word processing software or a text editor (i.e., Notepad) and then cut and paste your essay into your application when asked for it.
Submit or mail your transcripts. Recent high school graduates or current high school students should send a copy of their high school transcript. The transcript does not have to be official. Your application will not be considered until this transcript has been submitted.
Transfer students should submit transcripts from all previous colleges attended other than ACC. These do not need to be official. Your application will not be considered until these transcripts have been submitted.
Read through the Scholarship Criteria. You may be eligible for scholarships that require additional documentation, such as a letter of recommendation, voter registration card, or a letter from your employer. Additional documentation can be submitted to any Financial Aid Office or mailed to the Scholarship Coordinator. Your name and Datatel ID number should be on all submitted documentation.
Complete your application by the
