Reports To

Executive Director, Adult Education

Job Purpose

To provide case management, assessment, and support services to Adult Education students.

Description of Duties and Tasks

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Assists with the registration, assessment, and enrollment process of students enrolling in Adult Education courses.
  2. Collaborates with staff and instructors on appropriate assessment of students.
  3. Assists in developing policies and procedures on how to best serve Adult Education students
  4. Assists with the preparations and participates in Career Fairs, Honor Society Induction Ceremony, and other student activities.
  5. Facilitates workshops and seminars that support retention efforts, student learning, and other related topics.
  6. Works with community, faculty, staff, and students to create effective processes for student recruitment, retention, and placement into adult education programs.
  7. Orders, maintains, and disseminates Adult Education assessment materials.
  8. Trains faculty and staff in the application and use of the assessment instruments used by the Adult Education program.
