KINE 1101 - Aerobics I (1-1-2)
Aerobic exercise to music. Students will be provided with an opportunity to strengthen their cardiorespiratory system, decrease percent body fat, tone and firm muscles. This course is designed to increase energy, mental clarity and health as a part of oneís lifestyle. The class will incorporate high, light, and low impact movements, flexibility. Some classes incorporate bench-step, slide, kick-boxing, body sculpting, NIA dance, Zumba and circuit aerobics.

KINE 1103 - Aqua Fitness (1-1-2)
A water aerobics class incorporating a warm up, cardiorespiratory conditioning, a muscle strengthening segment and a cool down. The buoyancy of the water lessens the stress and impact of exercise on the joints while providing resistance, which tones and conditions the muscles and cardiovascular system. Some fundamental swimming skills are incorporated into the class but no swimming experience is necessary.

KINE 2356 - Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries (3-3-0)
The study of the treatment and prevention of specific sport injuries resulting from activities in the home, recreational, intramural, and extramural settings. Identification of injuries, proper treatment after they occur, and preventative measures. Students learn how to create a safe environment for athletes. Cramer and American Red Cross techniques will be covered.
