BSKX 8000 - College Quickstart
This 4 week academic support program is intended for graduated high school seniors or students who received a GED, and score close to college ready in at least two areas of developmental education. This intensive program includes the opportunity to improve reading comprehension, vocabulary, review grammar, sentence and paragraph structure, spelling, math and algebra skills to help you advance to college level courses, as well as learning study skills and college success strategies. To be eligible, scores must be within the given ranges in at least 2 developmental areas. Please call 223-5325 with any questions. A post test will be included. Required scores: Math TCOM 35-38, 65-68; Math T ASSET 52-55, Reading TCOM 78-80, T ASSET 38-40, Writing TCOM, 49 and up, Essay score 5, T ASSET 38 and up, Essay score 5.
 
DEVR 3006 - Developmental Reading Skills
Improve reading comprehension, vocabulary development and study skills needed to advance to the next test level. Required scores: TCOM 65-67, 78-80; T ASSET 34-36, 38-40.
 
DEVW 3004 - Developmental Writing Skills
Review grammar, sentence and paragraph structure, punctuation, spelling, and essays. Personalized and group instruction in a classroom setting. Required scores: TCOM 47-49; T ASSET 36-38.
 
MATX 3002 - Enhancing Math Skills
This non-credit course helps students prepare for TSI math testing and advance to the next skill level in mathematics. Required scores: Math TCOM 22-25, 42-45, 65-68; Math T ASSET 32-34, 42-44, 52-55.
 
MATX 3010 - TSI Math Assessment (placement) Test Workshop
This three hour Math review workshop will allow you to refresh your Math skills before you take the TSI assessment (placement) test. Take as many as needed as often as needed.
