BSKL 8060 - Yoga For Beginners
This is a beginning yoga course. Tuesday's class will focus on alignment and strength in yoga, Thursday's class will focus on using the breath in a dynamic flowing yoga practice. On Fridays the class will unwind and rejuvenate with deeper meditation while holding poses for extended periods. All classes are suitable for beginners.
 
BSKL 8081 - Beginning Intermediate Golf
If you are still trying to break 100 then this class is for you! Some experience is required for this class that will focus on developing your swing and emphasize the short game of pitching, putting, and sand play. One class will take place on the golf course. BSKL 8093 - Rock Climbing- 1 Day
A day long climbing course designed for the outdoor enthusiast. You will learn to overcome self-doubt and how to muster the strength, determination and courage to overcome what you thought impossible. You'll learn safety skills and basic climbing techniques in a supportive environment where teamwork, trust, and communication are essential. All equipment is included in the price. The class is held at Enchanted Rock State National Area, a state park between Llano and Fredericksburg. Please check in with the ranger station as a Rock About client. We do not provide transportation. Class will meet at the park at 8:15am. Participants are responsible for any applicable park day-use fees, approximately $6/person/day. Cancellation policy: full refund or reschedule if we cancel a class. If a student drops the class more than 48 hours of the scheduled class, there is a $20 cancellation fee. This course covers all aspects of the Olympic sport called table tennis. Improve your technique with personal instruction. Learn training drills used by Olympic athletes and practice with the instructor and other students. Learn the official USATT rules of the game, and about the specialized equipment used in competitive play. Then take what you learn and squash your friends and family, or better yet, join one of the thousands of competitive table tennis players across the nation and compete in the athletic world of table tennis.

Easier on the joints than running or aerobics, kayaking is suitable for all fitness levels, ages, and abilities. Learn kayaking strokes, safety techniques, interval training drills, muscle strengthening/toning, warm-ups, flexibility routines, and more. FITT 3007 - Kindergym: Ages 3-5 Years Old

This is a yoga class that will teach you breathing techniques, deep stretching, and guided relaxation. This is a class designed for individuals who would like to learn more about yoga while receiving a good workout.
 
FITT 3011 - Gymnastics
Have an active child? Keep them moving with gymnastics. Geared toward kids ages 6 to 12, techniques are taught using floor exercise, beam, vaulting and bars.

FITT 4001 - Sculling (Beginners Rowing for Kids - Grades 5-9)
Rowing is an opportunity for kids to achieve a special sense of accomplishment, self-confidence, and self-discipline. It’s also fun, challenging, and great exercise. FITT 7005 - Krav Maga Self Defense
Krav Maga was developed by the Israeli military. Students will learn defenses against grabs, punches, chokes, and more. These techniques have been utilized by the Israeli military & police forces during actual warfare & street riots which means the techniques have been tested to be very effective. We help build a strategic mindset of how to defend an attack, strike effective targets and get away in the quickest and most effective way possible. Classes incorporate hand-held punching bags to afford students the opportunity to practice striking techniques which will build endurance, strength, confidence, and footwork increasing students physical, as well as mental ability to fight back when the situation dictates. FITT 8059 - Beginning Sculling and Kayaking for All Ages
The sport of sculling combines full body conditioning with an outstanding workout. Texas Rowing Center's personal instruction and flexible scheduling make learning to scull easy, enjoyable, and stress-free. Our certified coaches have most students sculling within their first hour. Sculling is a challenging sport and great exercise. You will receive four 2-hour rowing lessons and four supervised rows during your six months of unlimited sculling and kayaking. Modern Wushu, which has its roots in traditional Kung Fu, is one of the most popular sports and performing arts in China. The power and beauty of Kung Fu and Wu Shu demonstrated in the movies—Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Hero—have made these Chinese martial arts a popular form of self-defense and exercise. FITX 3001 - Non-Contact Boxing
Boxing is one of the most intense full-body workout of any sport or exercise. It combines a variety of activities including rope jumping, abdominals, stretching, and punching exercises. You will be taught basic punching skills that can be developed through practice on speed bags, double-end bags, and heavy bags. Through these combined activities you will burn fat, as well as build and tone your muscles. You will also have a chance to observe both amateur and professional boxers working in the gym. This is a real learning experience! This class is non-contact. Students must also bring a towel to each class. Taught by Richard Lord, a retired professional boxer who has been training amateur and professional boxers for over 35 years. **Bring a large towel and proof of class enrollment.

Western or English seat. Horse Management includes: health, nutrition, horse lingo, safety issues, horse selection, tack selection and use, and horse behavior. Horsemanship covers: walk, trot, and canter/lope with balance and control. Horse handling techniques, positions, transitions, body awareness, and better communication with the horse.

FITX 3024 - Haganah Self Defense Techniques
Haganah was developed by the Israeli military. Classes teach self defense techniques against Open Hand assaults (Bear Hugs, Chokes, Punches, Headlocks etc), gun threats, knife threats and attacks. This is a close quarter system which teaches students how to be effective in confined circumstances. Each technique is broken down in easy to learn steps which helps students to learn and retain skills very quickly. No experience necessary as everybody moves at the same pace. Classes are informative, fun, upbeat, and hands-on. DO NOT allow yourself to be a helpless victim! Haganah instructors are trained and certified through the International Haganah Federation (IHF). We put together a very well organized structure of specific modules of workouts constantly challenging three areas of self improvement groups of attributes necessary to become truly Combat Fit: (Ultimate Endurance/Functional Strength/Fighting Skills). Endurance is achieved through ply metrics, jump rope, light run etc. Functional Strength is achieved through workout stations consisting of Medicine Balls, Swiss Balls, Kettle bells, Dumbbells, Bands etc. Fighting Skills is achieved through bag drills incorporating punching, kicking, combinations, footwork etc. This is a full body and intense 1hr workout. When thinking in terms of Self Defense, one must understand that it is better to at least even the odds if not better the odds against an attack.
