Advanced Technical Certificate

The Advanced Technical Certificate in Environmental Science and Technology is for returning students who already possess an Associate of Science or Bachelor of Science degree in a natural science and receive departmental approval. It provides them with specialized training in environmental technology.

To receive an Advanced Technical Certificate in Environmental Technology, students must: (a) make a minimum of C in all required math and science courses and (b) have an overall GPA of 2.0 or greater.

  1Select from BIOL 1406, BIOL 1409, or BIOL 1424.
  2With approval of the department, the student may receive transfer credit for a general course in environmental science, environmental studies, or natural resources.
  3Or students may take BIOL 2420 instead of CHEM 2323 and CHEM 2123.
