The Travel and Tourism program is designed to give the student an overview of the travel industry, and provides the student with the necessary information to obtain an entry-level position in the travel industry. The student works in a professionally staffed atmosphere with modern equipment. All students seeking this degree will need to be advised by the department to finalize course selections.

To receive a certificate in Travel and Tourism, a student must a) earn a grade of "C" or higher in all courses required to fulfill degree requirements, including general education courses, and b) meet Austin Community College's overall graduation requirements.
