Associate of Arts Degree

The Associate of Arts degree in History is intended to provide students with the first two years of United States History and Western Civilization, in addition to a broad selection of liberal arts courses transferable to a four-year institution. Students who plan to transfer and continue their study of history at a four-year institution should refer to the catalog of the institution to which they plan to transfer and consult with a full-time ACC history instructor. To satisfy the legislative requirement, a student must take 6 hours of American History with a grade of C or better.
