ART METALS: METALSMITHING SPECIALIZATION

With this degree, the student will receive traditional training in the arts, with a focus on the skills required of a metalsmith, as well as experience and theory in welding technology and industrial applications. A graduate with this interdisciplinary degree can gain access to an established employment market and a practical means of livelihood.

  2Select one from any welding or jewelry course. Students are encouraged to take WLDG 1457 (Intermediate SMAW) as their Restricted Elective. This course leads to WLDG 2479 (Welder Qualification) which is a non-required supplement to the degree track.
