Students desiring to build cabinets and furniture will take a sequence of courses starting at "Beginning Woodworking" and culminating at the capstone class that will ensure them the knowledge and skills that are required to be a successful woodworker. Students will also take "Construction Safety" and "Woodworking Design and Specifications." Students entering the program as a woodworking certificate seeker must complete WDWK 1400, WDWK 1413 and WDWK 2371 prior to enrolling in OSHT 1305 or have departmental approval.
