DEAF SERVICES

Certificate

This certificate is designed to give students skills to apply for entry level jobs in schools and agencies that provide services for the deaf. This includes Deaf schools, mainstream schools, group homes and other facilities. This training will help students get jobs such as Teacher Aides, Resident Hall Assistants, Recreation Aides and Rehabilitation Technicians.

To complete this certificate students MUST meet ONE of the following requirements below:
1. TSI Exempt
2. Passed the TSI reading and writing portions
3. Passed or concurrent enrollment in ESOL 0324 and ESOL 0332; OR ESOL 0382 and ESOL 0362; OR DEVW 1403 and DEVR 1303
