SSK 0012 BASIC STUDY SKILL (2-2-0).
SSK 0013 BASIC STUDY SKILL (3-3-0). Designed to help students develop skills and habits needed for success in college. Covers goal setting any time management; note-taking; following directions; reading, organizing, and summarizing information for study purposes; interpreting graphs; test taking; and using the library. The same course is offered in a one hour (0011) and two hour (0012) format.

SSK 1013 COLLEGE STUDY SKILLS (3-3-0). An advanced course in learning strategies. Covers principles of learning and their application to academic tasks such as problem-solving, note-taking, memorizing, test-taking, and conducting academic research. Repeatable up to four credit hours. The same course is offered in a one hour (1011) and two hour (1012) format. Skills: R Prerequisites: Evidence of ability to read on 12th grade level.
