ENR 0271.1B ENGINEERING MECHANICS I LAB (1-0-2). Designed for students currently registered in Engineering Mechanics I, ENR 2414. Individualized and group setting provides additional practice and explanation. This course is not for college-level credit. Repeatable up to two credit hours. Skills: P

ENR 0271.1C ENGINEERING MECHANICS II LAB (1-0-2). Designed for students currently registered in Engineering Mechanics II, ENR 2424. Individualized and group setting provides additional practice and explanation. This course is not for college-level credit. Repeatable up to two credit hours. Skills: P

ENR 1212 INTRODUCTION TO ENGINEERING (2-2-0). Introduction to engineering analysis and design. A broad range of problems will be considered in order to introduce the student to various engineering majors and careers. Prerequisites: One full year of high school physics or equivalent mathematics through trigonometry.

ENR 2414 ENGINEERING MECHANICS I (4-4-0). Vector mechanics for engineers, part I. Vector algebra, force systems, freebody diagrams; equilibrium of rigid bodies and structures; distributed loads, friction; moment of inertia; introduction to particle dynamics. Prerequisites: PHY 2614 or equivalent and credit in or registration for MTH 2154. (ENGR 2405)

ENR 2424 ENGINEERING MECHANICS II (4-4-0). Vector mechanics for engineers, part II. Particle and extended-object dynamics, including energy and momentum methods. Emphasis on two- and three-dimensional kinematics and dynamics, applied to a broad class of engineering problems. Prerequisites: ENR 2414 or equivalent and MTH 2154 or equivalent.

ENR 2434 MECHANICS OF MATERIALS (4-4-0). Internal forces and deformations in solids; stress and strain in elastic and plastic materials; applications to engineering problems. Prerequisites: ENR 2414 or equivalent and MTH 2154 or equivalent.
