This certificate program prepares the student for a career as a diagnostic cardiac sonographer (echocardiographer) through classroom study and supervised clinical experience. Upon completion of the prescribed curriculum, the student is eligible to take examinations for the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) certification in Adult Echocardiography. Admission is limited to graduates of an accredited 2-year patient care based Allied Health program.
