Austin
Community College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the
Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award at Level I C the
Associate Degree. The College is approved by the Texas Higher Education
Coordinating Board. It is a member of the American Association of Community
and Junior Colleges, the Association of Texas Colleges and Universities,
and the Texas Public Community/Junior College Association. Several of
the nursing and allied health programs are subject to national accreditation
agency requirements.
This catalog has been
prepared from existing policies and information obtained from the appropriate
college officials and is intended to be complete and accurate; however,
since the college is growing rapidly, substantive and procedural matters
are subject to change without notice. The College reserves the right to
select from the courses listed in the Catalog those that can be offered
during any session. Not all courses listed in the College Catalog are
offered each semester. The College publishes a printed Course Schedule
listing courses offered. Course Schedules, showing hours and days of courses
offered, are made available to students as early as possible prior to
the beginning of each semester.
