QCTC 1242 BIOPHARMACEUTICAL & BIOMEDICAL DEVICE INDUSTRIES (2-2-0).
Information on quality assurance principles and applications; designed to introduce the student to the quality assurance profession in the biotechnology, biopharmaceutical, and biomedical device industries. The student will describe the benefits and applications of quality assurance; demonstrate proficiency in the use of the tools of quality assurance; and apply sampling techniques. The student will evaluate quality assurance standards; be able to explain basic procedures for system audits.
