1 The foreign language hours must be in the same language.
2 The first semester speech course must be chosen from SPCH 1311 or SPCH 1315.
3 Students are encouraged to take courses that would satisfy the requirements of the Core Curriculum from the Natural Sciences, Humanities, and Social and Behavioral Sciences sections.
4 The second semester communications course must be chosen from the following: COMM 1307, COMM 2311, SPCH 1318, ENGL 1311.
5 The Math/Natural Science requirement may be satisfied by any Math/Natural Science course from the Core Curriculum.
6 The literature course must be chosen from the following: ENGL 2322, ENGL 2323, ENGL 2327, ENGL 2328, ENGL 2332, ENGL 2333, ENGL 2342.
7 The Social and Behavioral Sciences requirement must be chosen from the Other Social and Behavioral Sciences component of the Core Curriculum.
8 The course for the Visual and Performing Arts requirement must be chosen from the Visual and Performing Arts component of the Core Curriculum.
