FY 2000 Course Descriptions
SPS 1603 INTRODUCTION TO SPACE SCIENCE (3-3-0).
An introduction to the basic physical, chemical and biological principles relevant to the design, construction, launch, maintenance and retrieval of both manned and unmanned space craft. Special emphasis is placed on describing the space environment and its unique effects on the operation of satellites, space shuttles, space stations and colonies in space.
