CSC 1013 ADVANCED PERSONAL COMPUTING (3-2-2). Students learn to use the three software applications of word processing, database management, and spreadsheet development at an advanced level. Case studies may be used to integrate software packages. The course also includes an in-depth study of a disk operating system. CSC 1044 ADVANCED PROGRAMMING CONCEPTS (4-3-3). Investigation of techniques for program design, testing, and debugging. Data structures are studied including stacks, queues, linked lists and binary trees. Searching, sorting, recursion, strings, and arrays are also covered. Taught in an appropriate high-level language. CSC 2074 ADVANCED ASSEMBLY LANGUAGE PROGRAMMING (4-3-3). Study of applications (advanced and sophisticated) using assembly language. Emphasizes data handling and manipulation, I/O procedures and routines, and assemblies and loaders. Fee: $16 Prerequisites: CIS 1064.
