Visual Communication Design

CAT 2023 TYPOGRAPHIC DESIGN (3-2-4). Basic study of the visual form, recognition of type styles and type anatomy that relate to graphic design and communication. Projects will involve the manipulation of type, use of type accessories and choice of type styles most suited to the page layout. Concept production using QuarkXPress^TM, Illustrator^TM, and PhotoShop^TM. Fee: $20 Skills: E Prerequisites: CAT 1023, CAT 1083.
