Air Force Science


AFS 1613 AIR FORCE TODAY I (3-2-1). Focuses on the organizational structure and missions of Air Force organizations; officership and professionalism; and includes an introduction to communicative skills. Includes one hour per week leadership lab in which students learn and apply management and leadership skills and Air Force customs, courtesies, traditions, and drill procedures. Offered in the fall semester. Includes one hour of mandatory laboratory each week.

AFS 1623 AIR FORCE TODAY II (3-2-1). Continues the study of the organizational structure and missions of Air Force organizations; officership and professionalism; and communicative skills. Includes one hour per week leadership lab in which students learn and apply management and leadership skills and Air Force customs, courtesies, traditions, and drill procedures. Offered in the spring semester. Includes one hour of mandatory laboratory each week.

AFS 2613 THE AIR FORCE WAY I (3-2-1). Air Force heritage, Air Force leaders, Quality Air Force; introduction to ethics and values; introduction to leadership; group leadership problems; continued application of communication skills. Includes one hour per week leadership lab in which students learn and apply management and leadership skills, Air Force customs, courtesies, traditions, and drill procedures. Offered in the fall semester. Includes one hour of mandatory laboratory each week. Prerequisites: Instructor approval.

AFS 2623 THE AIR FORCE WAY II (3-2-1). Continues the study of Air Force heritage, Air Force leaders, Quality Air Force; ethics and values; leadership; group leadership problems; continued application of communication skills. Includes one hour per week leadership lab in which students learn and apply management and leadership skills, Air Force customs, courtesies, traditions, and drill procedures.
