1 Foreign language hours must be in the same language. Students mau also choose to satisfy the Humanities requirements of the Core Curriculum.
2 The first semester communications course must be chosen from the following: COMM 1307, SPCH 1311 or SPCH 1315. Students may use one of the Communications electives to satisfy the speech requirement of the Core Curriculum.
3 The second semester communications course must be chosen from the following: ENGL 1653, COMM 2311, or SPCH 1318. Students may use one of the Communications electives to satisfy the speech requirement of the Core Curriculum.
4 The third semester communications course must be chosen from the following: COMM 2305, SPE 2613 or SPCH 2335, ENGL 2308, or any literature course not being taken to satisfy the literature requirement.
5 The literature course must be chosen from the following: ENGL 2322, ENGL 2323, ENGL 2327, ENGL 2328, ENGL 2332 ENGL 2333, ENG 2713, ENG 2723.
6 The course for the Humanities/Fine Arts requirement must be chosen from the following: ARTS 1303, ARTS 1304, DNC 1623, DRAM 1310, HUM 1603, HUMA 1301, MUSI 1006, MUSI 1301, PHIL 1301, PHIL 3206, PHIL 1304, RTF 1613, DRAM 2367.
7 The Math/Natural Science requirement may be satisfied by any Math/Natural Science course from the Core Curriculum .
8 Students are encouraged to take courses that would satisfy the requirements of the Core Curriculum from the Natural Sciences, Humanities, and Social and Behavioral Sciences sections.

1 Foreign Language hours must be in the same language.
2 ENGL 2308- Poetry and ENGL 2308-Prose must be taken with the performance lab (select from ENG 0021.1D and ENG 0021.1C respectively).
3 The second semester Restricted Electives must be chosen from the following list: DRAM 2366, any ENGL 2307, and COMM 2311.
4 Any 3 hours of core curriculum math (depending on science requirements of the four-year institution to which the student will be transferring). Student should first consult with a mathematics advisor.
5 Humanities/Fine Arts/Literature electives must be taken in the Creative Writing Area. Students may also substitute the Visual and Performing Arts requirement of the Core Curriculum.
6 Any 6 hours of core curriculum science (depending on science requirements of the four-year institution to which the student will be transferring). Student should first consult with a science advisor.
7 Minimum of 1 hour of written performance lab required for major.
8 Select from course work for program.
Prerequisites: ENG 1613 must be completed before ENG 1623, ENG 1613 and ENG 1623 must be completed before taking any Literature course.
To be eligible to enroll in a foreign language course, it is required that any indicated prerequisite course be completed with a grade of C or better (this includes both courses taken at ACC and course credit transferred from other institutions).
9 Or any 3 hours from the Social and Behavioral Sciences section of the Core Curriculum.
