Management

MANAGEMENT
Associate of Applied Science Degree

Management is a two-year college program that includes individual management courses and specialized course appropriate to individual academic interest current or future work activities, and/or possible transfer to other colleges or universities. It is strongly recommended that you contact ACC counselors and/ or colleges or universities you may wish to transfer ACC courses to prior to taking these courses.

The ACC Management Department offers specialized curricula in (1) Administrative Management, (2) General Management and (3) Human Resource Management and (4) Industrial Management. Three Management Certificate Programs are also offered. Graduates of these programs may wish to pursue a four-year non-traditional occupational education degree (Bachelors of Applied Arts and Science, BAAS).

Students desiring to pursue a traditional, Bachelor of Business Administration degree, may want to take some Management courses, but should be enrolled under the Business Administration degree plan. Applicants for admissions to the program must fulfill the general requirements for admission to Austin Community College. For more information see a Management advisor.
