This degree plan is designed to prepare individuals for a career as a diagnostic medical sonographer through classroom study and supervised clinical experience. Minimum of a Nurse Aid Certification is required. Upon completion of the prescribed curriculum, the student is eligible to take examinations for the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) certification in Abdominal and OB/GYN specialties.
